We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Associate for our Salt Lake City, Utah distribution center. In this role, you will be an integral part of our logistics chain, contributing to the efficient and safe handling of goods. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and preparing shipments. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. We are looking for individuals who can work effectively in a team environment and maintain high productivity standards. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of operations within our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Inspect goods for damage and discrepancies.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory counts as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Employ safe lifting techniques for all items handled.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
