Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Track and manage stock levels to optimize warehouse space and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement in our logistics.
- Generate reports on inventory accuracy, turnover, and other key performance indicators.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items to maintain quality and prevent damage.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and other departments to ensure seamless inventory management.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE when necessary.
- Manage the reconciliation of incoming and outgoing inventory transactions, supporting overall logistics.
- Support receiving and shipping departments with inventory-related inquiries and issues, facilitating smooth logistics.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate lifting as required for inventory verification.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related field.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse logistics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and the importance of PPE in a warehouse setting.
- Experience with cycle counting methodologies is highly desirable.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring moderate lifting and physical activity as part of inventory checks.
