We are looking for a motivated Fulfillment Associate to join our state-of-the-art logistics center in Virginia Beach, Virginia! This role is critical to ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. You will be instrumental in managing inventory, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of our fulfillment processes. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and fulfill orders from inventory using scanning devices.
- Inspect and verify product quality before packaging.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Receive and put away incoming inventory in designated locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (certification needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company standards.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and participate in stocktaking activities.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily fulfillment targets.
- Understand and implement best practices in logistics and order fulfillment.
- Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a secure and accident-free workplace.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Assist in other warehouse functions as needed, demonstrating versatility.
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in fulfillment, warehousing, or logistics is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced setting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Physical ability to perform all job functions, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Understanding of e-commerce fulfillment and logistics is a plus.
