Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments according to company procedures.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation for various carriers.
- Verify order details against shipping information for accuracy.
- Schedule pickups and coordinate with transportation providers.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and files.
- Conduct final quality checks on outgoing packages.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments, which may involve Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners regarding shipping status.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related warehouse/logistics role.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and computer systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving manual handling.
- Capacity for occasional Lifting of packages.
- Willingness to wear provided PPE , such as safety vests and gloves.
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures and logistics processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and efficient operations.
