Our growing logistics company in Boise, Idaho is looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to manage incoming shipments. The Receiving Clerk plays a vital role in our supply chain by accurately documenting, inspecting, and organizing all incoming goods. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse setting, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You will be responsible for unloading trucks, verifying contents against purchase orders, and ensuring that all items are stored correctly and promptly entered into our inventory management system. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming items for any damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
- Enter received inventory data into the warehouse management system.
- Stage received goods for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain organized and clean receiving areas.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Understand the principles of efficient logistics and receiving operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting of boxes and items.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using scanners and basic computer systems.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of Safety best practices in a warehouse environment.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
