Seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Sacramento, California. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and correct shipments. You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring speed, accuracy, and a strong commitment to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner or pick sheet.
- Locate items within the warehouse, ensuring correct product and quantity.
- Replenish stock in picking locations as needed.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Stage orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and routing.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
