We are seeking dynamic Picker/Packers to join our energetic team in Austin, Texas! As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our logistics network. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items based on customer orders, inspecting them for quality, and then packing them securely and efficiently for transit. We are deeply committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees are required to utilize provided PPE and strictly follow established safety protocols. This position requires a good level of physical fitness, as it involves considerable standing, walking, bending, and frequent lifting of packages. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or discrepancies before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Label packages accurately with shipping details and tracking information.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandated use of PPE .
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment as directed.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards for picking and packing.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and product quality.
- Ability to read and interpret order instructions effectively.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
- Capacity for consistent lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for this logistics role.
- Willingness to rigorously follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
