We are seeking an organized and efficient Fulfillment Associate to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be involved in picking items from our inventory, packing them carefully for transit, and ensuring all orders are accurately documented and dispatched. We maintain a strong focus on workplace safety , requiring all employees to utilize the appropriate PPE and adhere to all safety protocols. The position involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and regular lifting of merchandise. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning technology.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information and tracking details.
- Process orders for shipment, ensuring all paperwork is complete.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of new inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Contribute to team goals by meeting or exceeding productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or order picking role is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand order details and product information.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive motions.
- Willingness to engage in frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving within a logistics context.
