Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product information and quantities before moving to the next stage.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervisors immediately.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper picking techniques.
- Meet performance targets for order picking speed and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment requiring movement throughout the day.
- Exposure to varying temperatures.
- Must be able to lift and move items as required and follow all safety protocols.
- Adherence to safety standards, including wearing appropriate PPE, is mandatory.
