Healing Is Human. So Is This Job.
At *Advanced Pain Management of Virginia*, we believe healing is not just clinical — it’s deeply personal.
It happens in the quiet encouragement during a hard session, the small victories that feel enormous, and the trust built between hands that care and bodies learning to move again.
Every patient who comes to us is carrying something — pain, fear, frustration, hope. And every day, our team chooses to meet them with patience, skill, and heart.
We’re inviting a *Physical Therapist* to join us — not just to treat conditions, but to walk beside people as they reclaim comfort, confidence, and quality of life.
If you believe therapy is as much about connection as it is about technique, you’ll belong here.
*Your Why, Lived Daily*
In this role, you won’t be rushed. You won’t be overlooked.
You’ll be trusted to practice with intention, autonomy, and compassion.
You’ll design individualized care plans that honor each patient’s story — helping them move better, feel stronger, and believe in their bodies again.
This is meaningful work. The kind you feel good about when you drive home.
*How You’ll Make a Difference*
* Greet each patient with presence, curiosity, and care
* Perform thorough evaluations that look beyond symptoms to the whole person
* Create personalized treatment plans focused on pain relief, mobility, and long-term wellness
* Provide hands-on therapy using therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and appropriate modalities
* Collaborate closely with physicians and care teams to ensure truly holistic treatment
* Educate patients and families with clarity, empathy, and encouragement
* Document care thoughtfully and accurately, honoring both standards and stories
* Stay current with best practices, especially in orthopedics and geriatrics
*Who Thrives Here*
* Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of *Virginia*
* Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
* At least *1 year of clinical experience* (orthopedic or geriatric experience preferred)
* Confident in anatomy, physiology, and clinical reasoning
* Comfortable developing care plans and supporting discharge planning
* Pediatric experience is a plus, not a requirement
* A warm communicator who builds trust naturally
* Someone who sees patients as people, not appointments
*Why Our Therapists Stay*
* *Competitive salary:* *$80,000 – $110,000 per year*
* Paid Time Off (PTO)
* A calm, supportive, mission-driven workplace
* A team that listens, collaborates, and genuinely cares and more
*Ready to Come Home to Your Work?*
If helping people move with less pain and more hope feels like a calling —
If you want your work to matter, every single day —
If you’re ready to practice in a place where compassion is not optional, but foundational —
We would love to meet you.
