For our Operations team, we are currently looking for you as
Field TechnicianUnlimited – Full Time – 40 hour-contract
Power every helicopter mission with your expertise: At Safran Helicopter Engines Germany, you turn complex engine work into safe lift-offs for our customers worldwide!
- Check and plan technical interventions by reviewing manuals, reference documents and required qualifications as well as identify the necessary tools, spare parts and documentation
- Support to prepare technical estimates when needed and carry out repair or maintenance work off-site
- Ensure all work is completed correctly to maintain airworthiness, including release inspections and analysis of any issues or non-conformities
- Issue EASA Form 1 or Certificates of Conformity along with all required technical documentation after gaining internal certifying staff license
- Update and track schedules, dashboards and checklists to keep interventions organized and on time
- A degree in Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent) or a completed technical apprenticeship as an Aircraft Technician, including knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations
- Hands-on experience in gas turbine maintenance or repair and/or in a customer-facing technical support role
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 50% of your working time)
- Strong problem-solving and clear communication skills as well as a reliable, solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent English language skills; German is a plus
