Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist at our Austin, Texas facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory within our sophisticated logistics system. You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and ensuring that our inventory management system is up-to-date and accurate. This position requires a sharp analytical mind, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into the inventory management system.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in reordering processes.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Assist in warehouse layout and organization to optimize stock placement.
  • Train other staff on inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
  • Identify and report any operational inefficiencies related to inventory.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capability of lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
