We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Dallas, Texas. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for accurately receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and organizing stock for storage or dispatch. Additionally, you will prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation are in place for timely delivery. A key aspect of this position involves maintaining an organized and clean shipping and receiving area, adhering to all safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient inventory management and fulfillment of orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies
- Stock received items in designated areas
- Prepare goods for shipment, including packaging and labeling
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
- Maintain inventory records and conduct cycle counts
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and protocols
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment
