Job Summary:
Join our efficient warehouse operations in St. Louis, Missouri, as an Inventory Clerk. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our stock. You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring that our inventory records are up-to-date and precise. The Inventory Clerk plays a key part in optimizing warehouse management and supporting our logistics team. If you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for organization, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories of warehouse stock.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Assist in the receiving and put-away processes to ensure accuracy.
  • Track inventory levels and report any stock movement issues.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure all items are properly labeled and stored.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques.
  • Support overall warehouse logistics by providing accurate inventory data.
  • Assist with other inventory-related projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role is preferred.
  • Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs) as needed.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
