We are hiring a motivated Picker/Packer to join our fast-paced warehouse in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This position requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to fulfilling orders correctly and on time. You will use scanning equipment and follow pick lists to locate items within the warehouse, then package them securely for transit. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and the smooth flow of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and pick tickets.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure order accuracy.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and assist with general warehouse upkeep.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Previous experience in order picking and packing is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- A commitment to workplace safety is essential.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
