We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks critical to the efficient operation of our distribution center. Your duties will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every step. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document any discrepancies.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requirements and shipping schedules.
- Prepare shipments for transit, including labeling, staging, and loading onto appropriate vehicles.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and identify any potential issues.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
