This position requires a strong understanding of forklift operation, warehouse procedures, and a commitment to workplace Safety. The ability to perform frequent Lifting of goods is necessary. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Store and retrieve products from warehouse racking systems.
- Conduct routine checks on forklift equipment for safety and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and data entry.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Report any operational issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to perform significant Lifting.
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
