Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure safe operation and report any issues.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate placement within the warehouse.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including safe lifting practices and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and operational efficiency.
- Must be able to perform lifting up to 50 lbs when not operating equipment.
- Follow all traffic rules and safety regulations within the facility.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Good physical coordination and the ability to perform manual tasks when needed.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vest.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
