Join our dynamic warehouse team in Washington, D.C.! We are seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Associates to support our growing logistics operations. In this role, you will be involved in a wide range of activities, including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. You will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our facility. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment, and adherence to all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting practices, is essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Stage products for outgoing deliveries.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with discrepancy resolution.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.
- Support various logistics functions to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Ability to perform lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to work varied shifts and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
