We are seeking reliable and efficient Order Pickers for our San Francisco warehouse! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and accuracy are crucial to our logistics operations and overall customer satisfaction. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work quickly, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick lists or use a scanning device to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product information and quantity against the order.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Ensure accuracy in all picked items to minimize order errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Report any damaged items, safety hazards, or system issues.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks as part of the picking process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity for frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
