We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our growing logistics team in Dallas, Texas. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods throughout our facility. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against documentation.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Load and unload trucks for inbound and outbound shipments using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all company and OSHA standards.
- Ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Conduct inventory checks and participate in cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Report any safety hazards, operational issues, or inventory discrepancies to supervision promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet operational goals within the logistics chain.
- Handle all products with care to prevent damage or loss.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.
Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred. Must be physically capable of performing tasks requiring regular lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods. Forklift certification is a strong asset. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are vital for this role. Thorough understanding of warehouse safety procedures and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment. Familiarity with inventory management and basic logistics principles is beneficial. Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the US. A strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are mandatory. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting and communicate clearly. Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment that may have varying temperatures. This role requires a motivated individual eager to contribute to efficient logistics operations.
