We are looking for energetic Fulfillment Associates to join our team in Washington, D.C. This role is fundamental to our e-commerce operations, focusing on the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. You will be responsible for picking items from inventory, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. Additionally, you'll assist with receiving and stocking merchandise. A strong emphasis is placed on detail, speed, and adherence to safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This fast-paced position requires the ability to stand for long periods, perform frequent lifting, and work effectively as part of a dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanning devices.
- Pack orders with care to ensure product protection during transit.
- Process and stage orders for shipment.
- Receive, check, and stock incoming inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and PPE guidelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily performance targets.
- Perform inventory checks and assist with stock counts.
- Ability to handle lifting of various package sizes and weights.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment role is advantageous.
- Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including significant lifting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse safety practices.
