We are seeking a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our Grand Rapids, Michigan facility. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient functioning of our distribution center, handling a variety of tasks from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. This position is key to our logistics network, ensuring smooth product flow and timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fulfill orders for customers accurately and efficiently.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Contribute to overall team efficiency and productivity.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
