Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all warehouse locations.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Track the movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring all transactions are recorded promptly and accurately.
- Manage stock rotation (e.g., FEFO/FIFO) to minimize obsolescence and spoilage.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to prevent loss, damage, or theft.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and shipping departments to ensure seamless inventory flow.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE .
- Assist with special projects related to inventory management, including system upgrades and process improvements.
- May involve some moderate Lifting up to 25 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques and best practices.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Awareness of workplace Safety protocols and the importance of PPE .
