We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this critical role, you will operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your proficiency in operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently will ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse and contribute to effective logistics management. Maintaining a high standard of safety is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks, racks, and other storage areas.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order and adhere to safety standards.
- Properly utilize PPE , such as hard hats and safety vests, as required by company policy.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated locations, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and location verification.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform tasks that may involve some manual lifting when required.
- Contribute to maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment, optimizing logistics .
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling procedures.
- Strong understanding of forklift safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to wear and use required PPE effectively.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require some lifting .
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory systems.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
