Join our dynamic warehouse team in Detroit, Michigan, as a Warehouse Associate! This role is crucial for the efficient and safe operation of our facility. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and participating in inventory control. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders with speed and precision.
- Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and addresses.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and wear appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including significant Lifting, up to 60 lbs, throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment.
- A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
