Are you a fast-paced individual looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy warehouse in Portland, Oregon. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders by accurately picking items from inventory and expertly packing them for shipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a commitment to quality. You'll work closely with our logistics team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify item codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Assist with inventory control through accurate picking and scanning.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Wear provided PPE, including safety shoes and vests, as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 30 lbs, repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
This role is integral to our logistics chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Safety and accuracy are our top priorities.
