Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or RF scanner prompts.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for packing and shipment.
- Pack items securely, protecting them from damage during transit.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and electric carts to move inventory.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines, including the use of mandated PPE and proper lifting techniques.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Contribute to team efforts and support other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting items weighing up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and safety protocols, including the critical role of PPE.
- Dependability and a proactive approach to tasks.
