We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Sacramento, California. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to safety standards. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of warehouse staff, coordinating workflows, optimizing inventory management, and maintaining a safe working environment. You will be instrumental in implementing and enforcing our company's safety policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensuring all team members understand and follow safe lifting techniques and material handling procedures. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of logistics and warehouse management. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations, including proper PPE usage and safe lifting practices.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Train and mentor new and existing warehouse personnel.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational performance.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Demonstrated ability to enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
- Ability to handle Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
