You will manage the flow of goods, verify counts, inspect for damages, and prepare shipments for dispatch. This position is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages.
- Accurately record and document all inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse management systems.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and carrier selection.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Manage warehouse inventory, including stocking, organizing, and conducting cycle counts.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with lifting and moving of materials as needed.
- Ensure the smooth flow of goods within the logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
