We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in San Diego, California. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are optimal, and supporting overall warehouse operations. You will be responsible for managing inventory data, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with stock adjustments. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management software and a solid understanding of warehouse procedures. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety and expect all team members to adhere to established protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: conducting regular physical inventories, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against inventory records, processing inventory adjustments, and reporting any stock discrepancies to management. You will also be involved in organizing and maintaining the warehouse stockroom, ensuring it is clean, safe, and easily navigable. This role may involve some light lifting of inventory items. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Process inventory adjustments and transfers.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and organization.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
