About the Job

This is a paid, onsite internship based in Warrenville, IL, offering approximately 30 hours per week. Range $20-$25/hr.

Join The Heico Companies as a Corporate Financial Intern supporting the Metal Processing Group (MPG U.S.), also known as the US Wire Group. MPG U.S. is the parent organization of three independent companies operating four manufacturing facilities across the U.S. Our entrepreneurial, decentralized business model encourages ownership, growth, and hands-on professional development at all levels.

What This Role Involves

In this role, you will support core financial planning and analysis activities and contribute to impactful research projects. You will:

· Prepare reporting and analytics to support management decision-making

· Conduct research on import dynamics, funding programs, and market opportunities

· Assist with annual planning, monthly close, and forecast consolidation

· Analyze budgets, financial statements, and key performance variances

· Support creation of monthly executive reporting packages

· Develop analytical tools and assist with Power BI dashboards

· Identify opportunities to improve reporting and processes

· Perform ad hoc financial analysis and related duties

Your Work Location At Heico Companies Office located at 27501 Bella Vista Pkwy, Warrenville, IL 60555

You will work approximately 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 AM.

Skills You'll Develop

You will gain hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and data visualization. You'll also develop skills in business research, Power BI, and executive-level communication. This role offers exposure to corporate finance within a diversified, growth-oriented industrial group.

Your Team

You will be part of the Metal Processing Group (MPG U.S.) CFO team.

Minimum Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or active enrollment in one of these programs

· Prior internship or work experience in an accounting or finance setting

· Demonstrated interest and experience in research

· Strong Excel skills; proficiency in Word and PowerPoint

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

· Excellent work ethic, accuracy, and attention to detail

· Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
