The HR Manager supports two business units across the USA to provide all aspects of HR and Payroll advice and counsel.

Requirements:

  • Manage the new hire onboarding and departing employee offboarding processes.
  • Support performance management processes, with a focus on maintaining consistent feedback.
  • Ensure training for each employee is selected, managed and reported on in HSI
  • Project manage any new HR processes for each business unit.
  • Provide advice, coaching, and counseling to employees and managers regarding policy & procedure interpretation and employee relations issues.
  • Manage all aspects of inhouse payroll.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed and documented. Counsel management and employees on employment issues.
  • Responsible for liaison with benefits administration advisors to ensure best in class benefits are being offered.
  • Manage Fiduciary duties for the Company 401k Plan
  • Responsible for various reporting metrics (headcount, performance, organization chart, etc.)
  • Update and maintain employee data in Paylocity HRIS and other business systems, as needed.
  • Administer the budget approval and coordinate with Corporate.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of and ensure compliance with State and Federal HR laws: State Disability, FMLA, DOL, ADA, EEO, etc.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of trends, best practices, and technologies.
  • Manage and report of hours of work and payroll for OCIP
  • Plan and organize events to motivate and improve employee engagement.

Any other duties that may arise from time to time within the parameters of this role and the skills, competency and training of the incumbent as directed by Managers.

Competencies:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.
  • Project Management Skills
  • The ability to work in an international setting with regular input and liaison with our French headquarters.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or HR Business partner role. International experience with Europe a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with management teams across functions.
  • Strong functional HR knowledge particularly in performance management, organizational development, training, recruitment, employee relations and metrics.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of HR related laws such as State and Federal laws; FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.
  • Passion for problem solving, executing flawlessly, and delivering high quality results.
  • Ability to think and act strategically and to be proactive and creative.
  • Solid project management skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective leader and mentor to the direct report to increase professionalism and timeliness of work product to stakeholders.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Solid understanding of HRIS systems, such as Paylocity and Employee Navigator.
  • Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in human resources, organizational development, or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered in place of a degree.

SHRM-CP or PHR Certification
