We are seeking a dedicated and patient Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The successful candidate will provide personalised instruction in AP Spanish, fostering a positive learning environment. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys, particularly those requiring specialized support. The Tutor will work closely with learners of different ages and abilities, including children with special educational needs, ensuring tailored teaching approaches to maximise their potential.

Duties

• Deliver customized tutoring sessions in specific subjects based on individual student needs
• Develop engaging lesson plans and educational materials to facilitate effective learning
• Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Support students with organisational skills and confidence-building techniques
• Maintain clear communication with parents, guardians, and educational staff regarding student development
• Foster a positive, encouraging environment that promotes active participation and curiosity
• Assist students in developing study skills and effective learning habits
• Ensure all tutoring sessions adhere to safeguarding policies and organizational standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with teens
• Knowledge of special education needs and inclusive teaching practices is desirable
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining concepts clearly and patiently
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and abilities
• Passionate about education and committed to supporting student success
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or specialised fields are advantageous but not essential

MUST BE FOR AP SPANISH and be a native spanish speaker.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
