Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with route driving, warehouse operations, and operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver products to designated locations according to scheduled routes
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of goods
• Assist with moving and heavy lifting tasks as needed during loading and unloading processes
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries professionally and courteously
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies during route driving
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and fuel usage
• Ensure the security of the cargo during transit and at delivery points

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred, especially with route driving and heavy lifting tasks
• Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Warehouse experience is advantageous for loading/unloading procedures
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and warehouse operations
• Reliable transportation to reach the starting point of routes each day

This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
