Restoration Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of restoration services to help clients recover from fire, water, mold, and other damages. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and possess a strong work ethic, technical skills, and a commitment to quality service. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a vital role in restoring properties and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and effective restoration practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform water damage restoration, fire damage cleanup, and mold remediation as needed.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to remove damaged materials.
• Conduct cleaning tasks, including carpet cleaning and general sanitation, to restore properties to their pre-damage condition.
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all restoration activities.
• Document work performed and communicate progress with team members and clients.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of containment areas to prevent cross-contamination during remediation processes.

Experience Preferred

• Prior experience in the restoration industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage repair, mold remediation, and carpet cleaning.
• Familiarity with the use of equipment used for water damage, smoke remediation, and mold remediation.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
• Previous experience in cleaning or general construction work will be considered an asset but is not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to develop specialized skills within the restoration industry while contributing to meaningful recovery efforts for clients facing property damages.
• Note: We are willing to train potential employees with no experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
