Job Description: ServiceNow Developer – Software Engineer III

Location:
Jackson, MI (Hybrid)

Contract:
12+ Months with Possible Extension

Local to Jackson, MI for W2 only.

Duties

• Build, implement, and maintain ServiceNow modules.
• Perform analysis and refine system requirements and designs.
• Ensure rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of ServiceNow.
• Promote ServiceNow Update Sets.
• Build complex ServiceNow workflows and catalog items.
• Participate in design and code reviews for other members of the development team.
• Support complex integrations to and from ServiceNow.
• Identify, develop, deploy, and provide post-implementation support of infrastructure and/or application technologies to support business requirements.
• Apply principles, methods, and procedures for designing, developing, optimizing, and integrating new and/or reusable system components.
• Perform prototyping, design, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and implementation of software applications in an Agile environment.
• Work with a cross-functional team to implement and deliver solutions using Agile methodologies.

Skills

• Must have experience with JavaScript and HTML.
• Must have experience creating ServiceNow update sets and workflows, and promoting/testing through multiple instances into production.
• ServiceNow build and maintenance experience preferred in the following modules:
• IT Service Management – Incident, Change, Problem, Asset, Release, and Discovery
• Customer Service Management
• IT Operations Management – Event Management and Discovery
• IT Business Management – Demand
• Software Asset Management
• Security Operations – Vulnerability Response
• Intelligent Apps – Automated Testing Framework
• Knowledge Management, Service Portals, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Analytics
• Experience with complex integrations including VeraSmart, SAP, and Clarity.
• Experience working with APIs (inbound/outbound).

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or another IT-related field.

5 years of IT operations and build experience within a ServiceNow enterprise environment.
