Associate Attorney

The practice

You will work on a range of employment defense matters, with a focus on wage and hour, PAGA, and class and representative actions. While the mix varies by matter, the work typically includes:

• Defending employers in individual, class, and PAGA actions
• Drafting and arguing dispositive and class-related motions
• Managing written discovery and e-discovery in complex cases
• Taking and defending depositions, including plaintiffs and corporate witnesses
• Participating in mediations, settlement strategy, and trial preparation
• Advising clients on litigation risk and strategy

The work is demanding, substantive, and requires sound judgment and strong written advocacy.

Compensation, bonuses, and growth

• Base compensation range of $170,000 to $230,000, depending on experience and overall fit
• Performance-based bonuses are an established and meaningful component of total compensation
