Title : Business Analyst (BA)

Location: Suwanee, Georgia (Near Atlanta)

Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days per week in office

Mode of interview: In person - Local resource strongly preferred

Role Summary

The Business Analyst partners with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into

clear, actionable Jira user stories. This role ensures creative and digital teams receive well-defined and well-scoped work requests by working closely with IT and business stakeholders. The BA supports senior managers and the Scrum Master with backlog refinement, requirements gathering, and shaping how marketing and digital work is defined and delivered.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior managers, Scrum Master, product, operations,

IT, and other teams, to understand and document business needs, processes, and objectives.

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, identifying

opportunities for process improvement aligned with organizational goals.

Translate business needs into clear user stories

and technical specifications, ensuring all Jira tickets include sufficient detail, context, and acceptance criteria.

Assist with backlog prioritization and organization, supporting established requirements and prioritization processes.

Facilitate meetings for requirements gathering, clarifications, and presentation of findings or recommendations.

Proactively monitor and review project deliverables, organizing dependencies into an actionable sequence of steps.

Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and dashboards to communicate insights, progress, and changes to stakeholders.

Provide ongoing support to teams by explaining user stories and Jira tickets to ensure clear understanding of scope,

requirements, and priorities.

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within an Agile environment.

Strong experience writing user stories, defining scope, and translating business needs into technical deliverables.

Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage input from multiple teams and clarify requirements efficiently.

Experience supporting creative or digital marketing teams.

Experience With Salesforce, SAP and Snowflake

Nice to Have

Certification in Business Analysis or Agile project management.

Experience leading or improving ticket intake and workflow processes.
