Assistant Teacher/Substitute

Monarca Montessori Preschool is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) professional to teach a small Toddler classroom. Ideal candidates should be organized, reliable, patient, punctual, and experienced with young children.

This part-time role is perfect for someone looking to work only a few hours daily. While Montessori experience is not mandatory, it would be a plus.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Responsible for caring for toddlers, maintaining classroom records, cleanliness, and orderliness.
• Implementing Montessori methodology (with guidance) to ensure that programs meet the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of children.
• The candidate should speak Spanish to the children and possess an understanding of the Spanish language and Hispanic culture, as well as instructing general age-appropriate concepts and skills in a nurturing, safe, and respectful environment.
• Additionally, the candidate will engage in arts and crafts activities with the students.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
