Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Riverside Pediatrics. In this role, you will support our pediatricians by delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and ensuring a positive experience for our young patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Assist pediatricians with patient examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling.
• Provide exceptional patient service to children and their families.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for use.
• Educate patients and parents on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Support office operations by managing inventory of medical supplies.
• Obtain clean and sterile specimens for POC testing and blood draws.
• Apply administrative and clinical skills to support patient check-in/out workflow.

Requirements

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of patient care practices in a pediatric setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent patient service.
