Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate team members during your shift to ensure smooth restaurant operations and outstanding customer service.
  • Oversee opening daily side work and closing procedures in accordance with company policies.
  • Manage POS systems such as TOAST for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
  • Understand Cash Flow and Cash Flow auditing. Includes counting drawers and making end-of-day deposits.
  • Supervise food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Train new staff members on food production techniques, customer service expectations, and operational procedures.
  • Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels while managing shift responsibilities efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed, communicating with back-of-house staff and assistant and general managers as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety standards, and restaurant management principles.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in shift management, budgeting, and food production oversight.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $23.85 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
