Position Description:

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves in a hands-on role that keeps things running? As a Maintenance Technician I, youll perform maintenance and repairs across plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Youll help ensure our facility is safe, efficient, and fully functional, making a real impact on the environment for both staff and individuals served.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is action-oriented, eager to learn, and enjoys tackling a variety of tasks every day.

What Youll Do

  • Inspect facility equipment and systems regularly to identify maintenance needs.
  • Service and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, troubleshooting and repairing issues as needed.
  • Maintain machinery, fixtures, outlets, wiring, and other equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Complete work orders, including preventive maintenance tasks and responding to after-hours emergencies when on call.
  • Document maintenance activities, materials used, and time spent in the work order system.
  • Test and calibrate systems to meet safety and performance standards.
  • Participate in training to stay current on industry best practices, new technologies, and safety regulations.

What Were Looking For

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience

  • No prior experience requiredthis is a great starter opportunity
