Junior Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will support project planning, coordination, and execution across various construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met. Duties

• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project, ensuring all phases are aligned with project timelines.
• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate activities on-site and off-site, including procurement, subcontractor schedules, and resource allocation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate project execution.
• Support the preparation of construction estimates using HeavyBid and other estimating tools to ensure budget adherence.
• Track project progress through regular site visits and updates, identifying potential delays or issues early on.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily reports.
• Assist in managing project budgets, procurement schedules, and subcontractor coordination to optimize efficiency.

Skills

• Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and contract management.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for civil or heavy construction projects.
• Knowledge of project scheduling techniques and construction site management practices.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and experience working on or around active construction sites.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, contractors, and vendors.
