Assistant General Manager – Delarosa Stanford

Palo Alto, CA – Stanford Shopping Center

Delarosa, known for its Roman-style pizza, small plates, Italian-Californian wines, and craft cocktails, is expanding to the heart of the Peninsula With a warm, energetic atmosphere and a love for great food and hospitality, Delarosa has become a favorite in San Francisco—and now we're bringing that same magic to Stanford Shopping Center.

We're looking for a passionate, dynamic, and experienced Assistant General Manager to help lead our newest location. This is a unique opportunity to play a foundational role in launching a new restaurant and shaping its culture, team, and guest experience from the ground up.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Excellent floor presence and a deep passion for hospitality

Strong leadership skills and a genuine love of working with people

High energy, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset

Experience opening or leading high-volume restaurants preferred

Weekend availability is a must

Base Requirements:

Minimum 1 –3 years of Manager experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant

Proven ability to lead and develop teams of 30+ staff members, including FOH and BOH collaboration

Demonstrated success in achieving financial targets (labor, COGS, controllables, P&L oversight)

Experience with restaurant openings is strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of hospitality best practices, guest recovery, and service training

Proficiency with restaurant management systems (e.g., Toast, OpenTable, Bevager, Dayforce, etc.)

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Current Food Handler Certification and ServSafe Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
