Physician (MD) – Primary Care
Location: Prescott Valley, AZ
Compensation: Starting at $200,000+ (commensurate with experience)

We are a busy, growing, family-owned primary care practice in Northern Arizona seeking a Physician (MD) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who values high-quality, patient-centered care within a supportive and well-organized clinical environment.

Position Overview

  • Provide comprehensive, longitudinal primary care services to an established and expanding rural patient panel
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad spectrum of acute presentations commonly seen in Primary Care settings and basic urgent care settings, including minor injuries, infections, exacerbations of chronic disease, and same-day visits
  • Deliver high-quality chronic disease management, including but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, COPD/asthma, cardiovascular disease, obesity, and complex multimorbidity
  • Manage patients with opioid use disorder, substance use disorders, and chronic pain, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when appropriate, risk stratification, monitoring, and care coordination
  • Perform preventive care services including annual wellness visits, health screenings, immunizations, and age-appropriate preventive counseling
  • Order, interpret, and act on laboratory studies, imaging, and diagnostic testing, incorporating results into longitudinal care plans
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to complex medical and psychosocial needs
  • Collaborate closely with advanced practice providers (PAs/NPs), behavioral health clinicians, clinical staff, and care coordination teams to deliver integrated, whole-person care
  • Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to APPs as appropriate, supporting high-quality, team-based care delivery
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation within eClinicalWorks (eCW), with a strong emphasis on quality, coding accuracy, and continuity of care
  • Maintain a patient schedule of 16-20 patients per day.

Ideal Candidate

  • MD, board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Active Arizona medical license in good standing
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a team-based model
  • Commitment to high-quality care, ethical practice, and long-term stability (2 year contract preferred)
  • Interest in building lasting relationships with patients and the community
  • Seeking opportunity for growth within the company. We are expanding and seeking to build a Microhospital in the area in the coming years.
