We are a locally owned and operated HVAC company focused on quality installs, strong customer communication, and efficient project execution. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee installation projects from sale through completion.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HVAC Project Manager to lead and oversee complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of HVAC construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and technical systems will drive project success and client satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to innovative building solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC installation projects from approved estimate to final completion
- Coordinate scheduling of install crews and subcontractors
- Order and track equipment, materials, and special-order parts
- Conduct job site walkthroughs and pre-install planning
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the project
- Resolve job-site issues, change orders, and scope adjustments
- Ensure installations meet code, manufacturer, and company standards
- Work closely with service, install, and office staff to maintain workflow
- Review completed jobs for quality control and closeout documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience managing HVAC or mechanical construction projects with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3, HeavyBid or equivalent software.
- Solid knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and construction estimating processes.
- Familiarity with civil design software like Civil 3D for site layout coordination is a plus.
- Strong background in construction management principles including project scheduling, site safety protocols, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and contract management.
- Excellent communication skills for effective project coordination among clients, team members, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Ability to read technical schematics related to HVAC systems; experience with schematic diagrams is essential.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects efficiently.
