Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a Process Engineer Technician at our Niagara Falls facility.
Job Location:
Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away
What you will be doing:
- Using AutoCAD, develop and prepare new resistor layouts and detailed package drawings of Thin Film Passive Devices from schematics and related geometry provided by customers
- Provide design support for engineering team in several phases of product performance and/or yield improvements and new product development
- Revise existing VTF designs as required by customer specification revisions
- Generate laser trim data files, test programs, and First Article Inspection worksheets for new specifications
- Participate in design review to determine the schedule for the design loading capabilities
What you will bring along:
- Associates degree in Applied Science or related discipline
- 2-4 years of related Engineering experience is preferred
- Fluent in use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to generate custom design layout based on customer applied schematics
Pay Range:
$24-26 per hour
