As the
Mobile Unit Driver/Security
, you will provide safe and efficient transport to and from various patient-care destinations and directly ensure and maintain a safe environment. This would include monitoring to ensure general safety for all patients, teammates, and visitors to promote service delivery that is aligned with Pinnacle Treatment Centers' primary mission.

Pay:
$27 per hour

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED or verifiable work experience in lieu of education
  • One (1) year patient transport service experience
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation), First Aid, and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • One (1) year experience in security services
  • Valid Driver's license in good standing
  • Ability to travel up to 100%

  • Associate degree.
  • Three (3) years of patient transport service or professional driver experience
  • Experience working in substance use and/or mental health field.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily communication with the Executive Director on any transportation issues or concerns.
  • Transport team to all mobile unit destinations on approved route.
  • Maintain minor preventative maintenance of all vehicles (oil changes, tire pressure, inspections, car wash, sewer disposal, water tank refill, etc.)
  • Maintain the interior cleanliness of the vehicles.
  • Completes transportation log daily and maintenance logs when needed.
  • Inspect vehicles to check for any malfunctions or deficiencies and report immediately.
  • Attend team meetings and complete all training courses as required.
  • Ensure the maintenance of safe treatment and working environment.
  • Inspect the unit's interior to ensure that it is presentable, safe, and secure.
  • Inspect the destination surroundings and parking lot to ensure that it is secure and that no current threat or nuisance exists.
  • Conduct walkthroughs inside and outside hourly.
  • Monitor and report any illicit activities in and around the unit.
  • Report all life-threatening situations concerning teammates, patients, and the immediate community.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled meetings and training sessions.
  • Monitor patient flow and crowd control and general safety of all
  • Ensure knowledge of all applicable laws
  • Assist in unit drills and inspections
  • Engage in crisis management, when necessary
  • Assist in front office as needed to include answering phones, checking patients in, filing, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
