Freelance Warehouse Operations

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated independent contractors to join our Warehouse Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of warehouse operations, including loading and unloading materials, operating machinery, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have strong AV experience and history with working in a warehouse. Although, not having these qualifications does not necessarily mean you will not be considered. Must have a Valid Driver's License. This is a freelance position, and hours are on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
• Operate warehouse machinery, including cranes, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks.
• Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer requests accurately.
• Assist in shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Participate in inventory management processes to track stock levels and assist in audits.
• Delivering and picking up. (Some Deliveries may be hours away)

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of equipment.
• Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate order fulfillment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods as required by the job.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $ $25.12 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
